was born in Varel - Friesland, North-Germany in february 1961 - after studying art and philosophy in Berlin, he graduated in biology (Diploma in theatrescience and ecology) and lives and works now in Italy near Rome. His exhibiton in 2004 intofilm2forpainting has received the prize LaCitadella at 10°Trevignano International Short-Fiction-Filmfestival and his digital video "people I don't know" was screened in the official program of 57. International Filmfestival at Locarno 2004 and VeniceScreenings at the Biennale. His works are parts of private collections in Germany, Italy, France, Holland, Swiss, Iran, Great Britain and the United States of America.

nato nel febbraio 1961 a Varel in Frisia / Germania, dal 1983 al 1999 vive a Berlino dove compie studi di arte e filosofia e si laurea in storia del teatro e biologia. Da 1999 vive e lavora in Italia a Bassano Romano. La mostra intofilmforpainting ha vinto il premio LaCittadella 2004 nell’ambito del 10° Festival internazionale del corto di fiction di Trevignano. Il suo film digitale “people I don’t know” ha partecipato al festival di Locarno nella sezione in.progress, ai VeniceScreenings e al bATiK filmfestival di Perugia. Le sue opere si trovano presso collezionisti privati in Germania, Italia,  Francia, Inghilterra, Olanda, Svizzera, Iran e Stati Uniti.

est né à Varel-Friesland en Allemagne en février 1961. Après des études d'Art et de Philosophie à Berlin, il a passé un diplome de Biologie. Ses oeuvres claires et puissantes puisent leurs racines dans la force de la nature et tentent de l'amener sur un plan humain. Sa formulation " peut-etre l'art aujourd'hui n'est-il que la mémoire de l'art" est une des clés de sa philosophie. Ses oeuvres peuvent etre vues de facon permanente dans son atelier près du lac de Bracciano au nord de Rome.
